LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) is an optical remote sensing technology that measures properties of scattered light to find range and/or other information of a distant target.  At Legeo we are able to use this technology to produce highly accurate terrain elevation data in an unprecedented turnaround time.  Our specially modified survey aircraft is certified to carry multiple LiDAR sensors including the Riegl Q680.

• High laser pulse repetition rates up to 400 kHz
• Up to 266 000 measurements/sec
• High ranging accuracy up to 20 mm
• High scan speed up to 200 lines/sec
